Just wondered if anyone here lives in the UK, and the spec of your Amstrad(s)...
I am in Scotland (Glasgow), and have 2 464s and an 664, along with lots of bits n bobs for them...
cheers
Dave

Yup.
Also from Glasgow.
Now reduced to using emulators since my old 464 was lost via a mix of callous burgulars/stupid fathers... nigh on 400 games too... gutted doesn't quite sum it up.

I'm in the UK, too. I used to have a 6128 but I junked it about a month ago as the disc drive was screwed. Then about two weeks later I realised that I could have at least sold the monitor and external 3.5" drive. Doh.
I've also got a 6128+ that a mate of mine left at my house about 6 years ago and he doesn't want it. I would sell it but the thing is the Burnin Rubber/Locomotive BASIC cart doesn't seem to work, all I can do is play Pang (and it's not the proper version, either).

I live in Arnold, Nottingham and have about half a dozen CPCs. They are 464's (some expanded to 6128s) and 6128s. Most of them are in my garage, probably collecting dust, but still functioning. I also have a large collection of manuals, discs and tapes.
The one I use mainly (and is in the house) is a CPC6128. The hardware addons are: Second (3") disc drive Third (3.5") disc drive Rom box with 6 Roms (all by Arnor) 32Mb RamRom with power maintained to the Roms by a 1 Farad capacitor Parallel cable linking the CPC to my PC laptop.
I still very actively write CPC programs, usually in a mixture of Basic and Maxam assembler. My last project which I have just finished (but may extend further) was rewriting the DIC and RECEIVE programs for transferring the contents of CPC 3" disc files to .DSK image files on the PC via the parallel cable. It is much faster than before, now taking typically less than a minute to transfer one disc.
