Hmmm I Think I have a harddrive for an Amstrad or do I It has no label that includes Drive Name / Model except a label with the following text : DRP020A03A so just wanted to check if it´s a Amstrad drive or what It has a 26-Pins Interface and no Power Connection...

probably a hard drive for an early amstrad pc, the cpc is a completely different and incompatible computer but people often mistake the two for the same or think they have something in common

they did release an amstrad hard drive, around 2mb i think but only towards the very end of the machines life - it was more a silicon disk
i think sd microsystems made an actual 20mb hard drive but that was in 1995, commercial games stopped the year after and there cant have been much demand, they must be very scarce

Tere was a hard drive released for the cpc.. 100Mb(!) of storage. It was actually designed to be a central store for a network of cpcs, and came in a grey, flat casing. I cant remember who made it, but I rmember the adverts for it super rare if you have one.. can you post a pic and we can gave a look?

Dobbertin Industrie Elektronik had released a 20MB (4x5MB) hard disk (MFM type) for the Amstrad CPC6128. The ROM required for this was X-DDOS 2.11 -. The hard disk was also interfaced with CP/M plus (version 1.1x).
The 2MB RAM - also called MemCard was a RAM expansion for the CPC6128, I think the maximum ever made.
