I've been trying to use CpcAlive version 1.07j but have hit a major problem. I cannot, within the emulator, enter the vertical bar character '|' on my laptop PC running Windows ME. If I hold down shift and press the ` ¬ | key (immediately to the left of the 1 key) it merely displays a downward pointing arrow followed by the letter Z. If I hold down shift and press the \ | key (immediately to the left of the Z key) it merely displays 5rg . No other key seems to produce the vertical bar. Have you any suggestions how I can overcome this problem?
