Hi there.
After for many years of totally ignoring the old 8-bit machines, I have resently purchased an old Amstrad CPC 6128 with danish keyboard layout .. and this has given me some frustrations.
How the H... do I find the |-key to switch between tape and the second disk drive? I believe I have tried everything. Could it really be that that key was sacrificed to bring the æ, ø and å keys to the keyboard. If that is so : #¤¤%$!
Hope to hear from anyone.
Thanks.
/Michael, the frustrated Dane.

Hi Michael
On danish keyboards the sign "ø" equals the masterspace "| ".
eg. |disc equals ødisc etc.
Hope this helps.
Regards, Hans

Thanks Hans.
That helped a lot. Unfortunately, my impatience made me purchase another CPC 6128 this time without danish keyboard. So now I have two CPCs -- but maybe that is not such a bad thing.
Now I can experiment with connecting a 3.5" PC drive to my CPC. I have gotten hold of a connecter-cable designed for the Spectrum +3, but I have been told that the schematics are the same for the CPC.
Wish me luck!
Thanks again.
/Michael
