Hi. I had the very same problem a few weeks ago, when I dug out my old 6128 again. I don't know where you are in the world, but I bought two drive belts from www.Sintech.de at 2 euros a piece. It is a spectrum-oriented on-line store, but since the +3 and the 6128 share the same diskdrives the belts are 100% compatible. My 6128 is up and running again... Hope it helps just a little bit. /Michael

hi, yes about the disc drive for 6128. I dug out all my 6128s out the attic, and found that after a few years the belts had strtetched. The bellts are flat, but i was surprised to find that even an old round belt from my cassette tape worked, provided it was not too tighta nd not too loose. So yes, as a last resort, a round drive belt from any old cassette will work, and at last all my 6128s are up and runnign again.. but as you can see from other replys, youc an get the proper belts eventually for a small sum
